GMP Cell Production Technician

Glycostem Therapeutics

Glycostem, founded in 2007, is a clinical stage company developing allogenic cellular products for cancer immunotherapy using NK-cells. Until 2013 Glycostem collaborated as “spin-in company” with the University Medical Centre Nijmegen, resulting in a phase I clinical study in elderly patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). From 2014 Glycostem is located at research facilities on the pivot Park in Oss with an experienced executive team of 23 employees.

Glycostem has developed a platform technology for the expansion and differentiation of allogeneic hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells derived from umbilical cord blood. This enables off-the-shelf, safe and low production cost products. This platform technology technology, under GMP facilities class-C clean, enables a closed system cell culture process for the expansion of CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells and further differentiation into fully functional immune cells.
